Here is a list of links that you may find useful when building and publishing your web:

www.nominet.org.uk manages the database of .uk domain names. Find out who owns a domain name.

www.net2.co.uk as good a place as any to check whether your preferred domain name is still available

www.crackerjack.co.uk for web hosting and registering of .uk domain names. Also contains a link to download WS_FTP
(free file transfer software)

http://www.nic.uk The UK domain name registry, includes really good answers to FAQs regarding domain names etc

www.searchenginewatch.com for info about how search engines work and more

www.grsites.com for easy to create buttons and logos for your site
